Mădălina studied economics before venturing into fashion territory. After specializing in Management and Economic Engineering, receiving a MA in Marketing and Business Communications and working in banking, she decided she had to make a big career change and started… well, a fashion business. She thought about everything she likes to see, touch and buy when she walks into a store. Then she thought about the joy making things with her own hands is bringing her. And so Magnolia Scarves & Accessories was born – a deeply personal brand that tells the story of a woman and the delightful little things that make her happy.
Architect, designer and coder, Andrei studied Architecture in Bucharest and at the Facolta di Architettura in Palermo. He freelanced for a while as a designer and/or architect, then collaborated with offices such as ONL [Oosterhuis – Lenard] in Rotterdam (2009) and CHBL – Coop-Himmelb(l)au in Vienna (2010). He then became interested and involved in computational architecture, eventually creating Gradinita, a project that aims at teaching, cultivating and stimulating computational design within Romanian practice. He later became a partner and lead designer at Magnolia Scarves & Accessories, bringing his knowledge and talent into the amazing graphics that make each scarf we create a unique and completely individual item.
